February 23, 2016                 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Pulaski, PA)…The Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC RUSH Racing Series powered by Pace Performance will host their annual Tech Seminar for its sanctioned speedways on Sunday, February 28 at 1 p.m. at Gatherings Banquet & Event Center in Edinburg, Pa.  This year’s Seminar will include topics on all four of RUSH’s sanctioned divisions- RUSH Late Models, RUSH Sportsman Modifieds, RUSH Pro Stocks, and the RUSH Pro Mods, which will debut this season on a weekly basis at Stateline Speedway.

All speedways that host either Weekly and/or Touring Series events in any of the four RUSH divisions are welcome to attend with their tech personnel.  The Seminar will be led by RUSH Competition Director, Travis Harry, who is set to begin his fourth year in the position. Pace Performance Circle Track Director of  Operations, Don Blackshear, will also offer his expertise.  Division rules, the GM Performance Parts Circle Track Crate Engine Tech Manual, and weekly track tech guides will be reviewed.

Each track will receive its 2016 Tech Manual, which contains multiple items to assist them in their weekly tech of RUSH divisions including instructions, viles, and chain of custody forms needed for the proper teching of the Hoosier Crate Racin Tires and the new Sunoco 110 and RUSH 91 Series spec fuels.  Engine confiscation forms are also provided in the event of an engine protest and teardown.

“Our annual technical seminar that we host for our weekly sanctioned speedway tech officials is very important and a great example of the service we feel we must provide to our speedways and their racers to ensure that the stringent rules that have been put in place that preserves competitive racing are maintained", stated Series Co-Director Vicki Emig.  "It's equally as important to the RUSH program as our mandated Authorized Engine Rebuilders Seminar."

"This way everyone who has a stake in crate racing, from us as Series directors, our speedway promoters and their tech officials, authorized rebuild and repair facilities, and of course the racers are on the same page," continued Emig.  "We all realize it's a team effort to preserve the integrity of the GM sealed engine program and I cannot tell you how exciting it is to see all parties working together to ensure the future of this concept.  I fully believe the strong technical program that has been developed through the efforts off all of these parties is at the heart of RUSH's continued growth and success."

Tracks or tech personnel that are planning to attend and have yet to do so, should contact RUSH at 724-964-9300 to confirm their attendance.
