(Hartford, OH)...The
Pace Performance RUSH Sportsman Modified Series together with Sweeney Chevrolet
Buick GMC is primed for its seventh annual "Manufacturers Night" presented by
MSD Performance this Saturday night (July 31) at Sharon Speedway.
The night will also include a Hovis Auto & Truck Supply Touring Series
event, and the Pace Performance RUSH Sprint Cars will also be on the card in an
Equipment Rental Options Weekly Series event.
This year's "Manufacturers Night" will see over $21,500 in valuable products
being distributed to eligible RUSH Sportsman Modified racers.
There are currently 36 packages that will be distributed ranging from
$441 in value to $1,420! The
drawings will take place at approximately 6:15 p.m. following the drivers
meeting.
While all legal cars are eligible to compete in the
night's racing program, only drivers/cars that have not competed in a non
RUSH-sanctioned Sportsman/602 Crate Modified event that conflicted with a
RUSH-sanctioned Sportsman Modified event during the 2021 season will be eligible
for the product giveaways.
Eligibility for 2022 will reset following the event.
The grand prize Saturday night is once again from
longtime marketing partner and the "Official Brakes" of RUSH, TBM Brakes.
TBM will award two F1 Tornado Calipers, three F3 Tornado Calipers, and
three bottles of brake fluid valued at $1,420.
Lincoln Electric will again award a power MIG 140C multi-purpose welder
and utility cart valued at $1,175.
Two new marketing partners have come aboard to offer
substantial prizes.
Eric Gabany Racing Bodies, owned by most recent RUSH Tour winner, Eric Gabany,
will award a complete Bicknell style outer body made from .050 aluminum, which
comes with doors, quarters, windows w/ lexan, door posts, plastic skirting, and
stiffeners valued at $800! Winner can
choose white, red, black, or blue.
And 3C Graphix will give away a complete custom Modified wrap valued at

"We have to thank the 26 companies that are participating in this year's
Manufacturers Night for the Modifieds," stated RUSH Director Vicki Emig.
"It's tremendous what these gracious companies continue to do year in and
year for our racers. Many of the
companies also provide product for our other divisions' Manufacturers Nights.
These companies have allowed every eligible racer to take home a product
package valued at a minimum of $441.
With 36 packages posted, several racers will win multiple packages."
Due to rain, Saturday's Hovis Tour event will be just the second of the season
following the July 15 show at Expo.
Saturday's feature will pay $600 to-win.
In addition, Ohio Intra Express will sponsor the dash that will determine
the beginning rows of the feature lineup and will pay $100 to-win.
There will be a lot of points on the line Saturday; not only Tour and Sharon points, but also for the $3,500 to-win Hovis Weekly Series and the $1,000 to-win Wedge Motorsports "Route 7 Rumble" Series Championships! Thanks to his win at Lernerville and a runner-up last Saturday night at Sharon, Chas Wolbert has taken over the Weekly Series points lead, and also leads the Sharon track points. Defending "Route 7 Rumble" Series Champion, Rob Kristyak, once again sits atop of those standings. Meanwhile, rookie Ben Easler leads the "Futures Cup" points.
Sharon has hosted five Weekly Series events thus far during their 92nd anniversary season. Wolbert and last Saturday's winner, Garrett Krummert, have each won two races, while Jacob Wolfe captured his first career feature win on June 26. Sharon has averaged over 24 cars per night with last Saturday's 27 being the highest count of the season. Wolbert meanwhile, who won his milestone 40th career RUSH Sportsman Modified feature last weekend, is also the all-time leading Tour feature winner at five.

mandatory and are channel 454.000. Pit passes are $30.
The entry fee is $25. Pits will be open throughout the afternoon
with pit passes going on sale at 4.
Drivers meeting will be held at 6 p.m. with the Manufacturers Night drawings to
immediately follow. Heat races are
slated for 7 p.m.
